Due to licensing requirements and Safe Sleep initiatives, we do not put blankets in cribs with babies. Infants are required to have a sleep sack similar to the one pictured below. These are available from retailers such as Target, Meijer, Babies R Us, and other major retailers.

Children who sleep or rest on nap mats (toddlers through preschool) may like to have a kid-napper blanket-pillow combo. Parents can order these at the centers by speaking to the program director or director. They’re $30.

Children who ride vehicles with wheels at the center are required to wear a personally fitted bike helmet. Parents may bring helmets to use at the center, or you may order one from GH by speaking to the program director or director. We also have adult sized helmets for sale. Toddlers and kids sizes are $10, adult sizes are $12.

Charges for gear purchased through Gretchen’s House will be added to your monthly tuition bill.
