History
Gretchen’s House-Traver opened in the Fall of 1991. It comprises three buildings: a main building which has infant & toddler classrooms; a cottage and barn, which houses a mixed age group of preschoolers. GH-Traver is situated in an established neighborhood convenient to many major Ann Arbor employers. It’s on a quiet street and is within walking distance of several city parks and Leslie Science Center. There are three separate playgrounds: one for infants and toddlers, one for preschoolers, and one for school age children.
