Staff Childcare Discount
Gretchen’s House offers a 50% discount for staff children enrolled in our programs. Gretchen’s House is an employer participant in the State of Michigan Tri-share Program for employees who meet eligibility standards.
College Scholarships Available
Gretchen’s House participates in the T.E.A.C.H. program, sponsored by the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children. The program provides scholarships to center staff enrolled in early childhood college courses.
Gretchen’s House, Inc. will reimburse TEACH scholarship students for 10% of tuition and books costs, in addition to a bonus upon completion of each “contract,” which run between 12-18 credit hours. In order to be eligible for this program, employees must:
- Work at least twenty hours per week in a GH program
- Commit to continued employment at GH for one year following degree attainment
